Monte Alto ISD is incredibly proud to celebrate Mrs. Sarairis Slusser, who proudly represented our district at the Region One Teacher of the Year program as the 2027 Monte Alto ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year and has been nominated for Region One Secondary Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Slusser is an outstanding educator whose passion for teaching, commitment to student success, and dedication to excellence have made a lasting impact on the students and families of Jose Borrego Preparatory Academy. As a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Exemplary Teacher, she exemplifies the highest standards of instructional excellence and continuously inspires those around her.
This year, Mrs. Slusser will take on an exciting new role as the JBPA Instructional Facilitator, where she will expand her impact beyond a single classroom by supporting teachers, strengthening instruction, and helping even more students succeed.
